Colin Barnes (Peterborough)

Here is a picture of Colin Barnes. He was selected as the young Referee of the Year 2007 for the Peterborough Branch.

Colin is 16 years old, and is a straight A student, excelling in Math and Science.

He has played soccer for 10 years, and has been a referee for 3 years. Other recreational activities Colin enjoys are paintball and kayaking. He has played hockey (goalie) for 9 years, and is on the Holy Cross High School Football Team, playing in the slot back position.

He hopes to one day achieve a degree in Aerospace Engineering and ultimately work at NASA on the Mars mission.

This picture was taken at Trent University in which he was the Assistant Referee for the Trent U Vs Carleton ( Ladies Game) on Oct.13 here in Peterborough, it was a very rainy and cold day.
